The Significance of 1098

The 1098 helpline is India's first 24-hour free emergency phone service for children in distress. Launched under the Ministry of Women and Child Development, it provides immediate assistance to children facing abuse, neglect, or any form of exploitation. By creating this massive human formation, the organizers aimed to increase public awareness and encourage more children and adults to utilize this crucial service.

Event Highlights

The event saw unprecedented participation from schools, community groups, and child welfare organizations. Under the leadership of INTERNATIONAL PRIDE WORLD RECORDS and with support from the CAWC Department, thousands of volunteers coordinated their positions to create this historic formation. The event also featured educational sessions about recognizing signs of child abuse and understanding the importance of prompt reporting.
